Hello and thanks for taking the time to visit my site. For more than two decades, my experiences as a photojournalist have taken me around the globe. Whether capturing Tiger Woods on the 18th green of the Byron Nelson, Former Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev’s speech on the dismantling of the Berlin Wall, Mariah Carey winning all at the World Music Awards, Dale Earnhardt dominating the Daytona 500 or the agony of a family who has lost their son in Iraq, my passion for visual storytelling has remained unchanged. To show the common in an uncommon way has been my goal. Even while in the management role, it’s always been important for me to be a practicing photojournalist. For that reason, I have always remained a shooter, even while serving as Photo Editor/Director of Photography for Pinnacle Trading Cards and The Sporting News, Inside Sports, Home Gym & Fitness and Golf Digest magazines. As you’ll see, I’ve covered all types of news, feature and sporting assignments. Included in those assignments have been summer and winter Olympic games, Super Bowls, college bowls and many other NFL, NHL, NBA, MLB, MLS, PGA, LPGA, NASCAR and NCAA events. I’ve coordinated and photographed the annual NFL Rookie Shoot and the NFL Quarterback Club Challenge. I’ve been fortunate to have my work appear nationally and internationally in publications such as Sports Illustrated, Inside Sports, The Sporting News, USA Today, People, Time, Golf Digest, London Times, New York Post and others. I’ve earned a Bachelor’s degree in Photojournalism from the University of Missouri School of Journalism. Most recently, I completed a documentary film entitled “Jerabek” It was accepted to premiere at the 2007 Tribeca Film Festival.
